The honest answer

Trootone uses almost no cookies. We have no advertising, no analytics that follow you, and no third-party trackers on the upload flow.

What we do use

• Browser localStorage - to remember an incoming referral code if you arrived via someone's referral link, so the credit can be issued correctly. Not linked to your identity.
• Cloudflare Turnstile - sets a short-lived verification token to confirm you are not a bot when verifying your free-tier email or sending a contact message. No tracking across sites.
• Paystack - when you complete a payment, Paystack may set its own session cookies on its checkout iframe. Refer to Paystack's privacy policy.

What we don't use

• Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracker.
• Advertising cookies.
• Persistent fingerprinting outside of free-tier abuse prevention.

Your choices

You can clear your browser's localStorage at any time. Doing so will remove any stored referral code. Trootone's core product (paid briefs) does not require any cookie or local storage to function.
