Terms of Service

Effective: January 2026

1. Service

Trootone is a self-service meeting brief generation tool. By uploading audio you grant us a one-time, immediate-purpose right to process the audio for the sole purpose of producing your brief.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. You must own, or have the right to process, every recording you upload. You are responsible for obtaining consent from anyone recorded.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload audio you do not have the right to process, audio that violates wiretap or recording-consent laws in your jurisdiction, or audio containing illegal content. Trootone reserves the right to refuse processing.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Paystack. All prices are in USD. Failed deliveries are eligible for a manual re-processing or a refund at our discretion. Payment references are non-transferable.

5. Multi-brief packs

Weekly and Deep Work packs entitle you to a fixed number of briefs delivered via a private magic link. Magic links are non-transferable and non-recoverable if lost. Pack briefs do not expire.

6. Free tier

The free tier is offered as a one-time courtesy per email address and per device. Abuse of the free tier, including using disposable email addresses, multiple devices, or automated requests, voids your right to it.

7. Output accuracy

Briefs are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or mishearings. You are solely responsible for verifying any brief before relying on or distributing it. Trootone makes no warranty as to the accuracy of any output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trootone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the brief in question.

9. Termination

We may refuse service or terminate access at any time for violations of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Trootone is operated. Disputes are resolved in good faith.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated on this page.
